The Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU) inaugurated a newly established salon at the Garrison Shop premises in Diyatalawa on 03 October 2025.
The occasion was graced by Mrs. Swendrini Dissanayake, President of the ASVU, as the Chief Guest.
During the opening ceremony, she highlighted the importance of maintaining high standards of service and instructed the staff to provide a professional and client friendly experience for all visitors.
In addition to the inauguration, the ASVU President visited the Viru Kekulu Pre School in Diyatalawa and later inspected the ongoing yoghurt production project managed by the 8th Regiment of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
