On the occasion of World Children’s Day, the members of Sri Lanka Signal Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLSC-SVB) conducted a scholarship awarding ceremony to recognise the outstanding academic achievements of the children of Corps members, under the guidance of Mrs. Ayesha Liyanage, Chairperson of SLSC-SVB.
Major General G.L.S.W Liyanage USP nps psc, Chief Signal Officer of the Army and the Colonel Commandant of SLSC, graced the event as the Chief Guest.
Students who excelled in the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination, GCE (O/L) Examination, and GCE (A/L) Examination in 2024 were presented with cash awards, certificates and medals, in appreciation of their commitment and excellence in studies.
Members of SLSC-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
