On the occasion of World Children’s Day, the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAOC-SVB) conducted a donation programme at the “Sukitha” Handicapped Children’s Home in Horana on 01 October 2025.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Mrs. Shirani Nirmaleen Wijekoon, Chairperson of the SLAOC-SVB.
The day’s activities included the donation of essential items, a cleaning programme, and the provision of a special dinner for 43 children, accompanied by a calypso band entertainment session.
Members of the SLAOC-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
