The Corps of Engineer Services Seva Vanitha Branch (CES-SVB) conducted a Scholarship Awarding Programme on 25 September 2025 at the Regimental Headquarters, Panagoda.
A total of 45 children of Officers and Other Ranks were recognised for their academic excellence, including students who secured 9 A passes at the 2024 G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination and 3 A passes at the 2024 G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination.
The programme also included an inspiring lecture by Mr. Sanath Gamage, a specialist in Human Skills Development Training, on the theme “How to Reach Your Best”.
Major General K.A.N. Rasika Kumara ndc psc, Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Engineer Services, graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest. The event was conducted under the supervision of Mrs. Anupama Rathnayaka, Chairperson of CES-SVB.
