SLASC – SVB Conducts Scholarship Programme

The Sri Lanka Army Service Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLASC – SVB) conducted a scholarship programme to assist 13 drivers serving at the 7 SLASC in upgrading from civil light vehicle licences to civil heavy vehicle driving licences on 20 September 2025 at the 3 SLASC.

In parallel, an awareness lecture on breast cancer prevention and early detection, conducted by the Cancer Society, was organised to promote health consciousness and enhance the overall wellbeing of troops and their families.

Mrs. Ajantha De Silva, Chairperson of the SLASC – SVB, members of the SLASC – SVB, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
