The Gemunu Watch Seva Vanitha Branch (GW-SVB) conducted “Seva Vanitha Sisu Abhiman- 2025” (Stage II) scholarship awarding ceremony on 17 August 2025 at Paradise Hall, Regimental Headquarters of Gemunu Watch, initiated by Dr. (Mrs.) Dilrukshi Wimalaratne, Chairperson of GW-SVB.
This event was held to recognize and reward the exceptional academic performance of 13 children of GW soldiers who passed the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination 2024 with outstanding results, by obtaining nine “A” passes. During the event, money voucher valued Rs.25,000.00 & book packs were presented to the children.
Major General W.B.J.K Wimalaratne RWP RSP, the Director General Infantry and Colonel of the Regiment of GW, Members of GW-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
