The Commando Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (CR - SVB), under the supervision of Mrs Samindie Wickramaratne, Chairperson of CR - SVB, donated a wheelchair and a dry ration pack to support the mother of the late Lieutenant M.P. de Silva of the 2 CR, who was killed in action on 4 December 1997 during Operation Jayasikuru in the Mannankkulam area.
The initiative was conducted under the guidance of Major General K.S.M.S. Wickramarathne RSP, General Officer Commanding 53 Infantry Division and Colonel of the Regiment, CR.
