Newly-Built House Gifted to Civil Employee by GW-SVB

The Gemunu Watch Seva Vanitha Branch (GW-SVB) ceremonially handed over the key of a newly constructed house to a civilian employee of the Gemunu Watch on 19 July 2025 in Kekirihena, Maha Oya.

The ceremony was graced by Major General W.B.J.K. Wimalaratne RWP RSP, Director General Infantry and Colonel of the Regiment GW, together with Dr (Mrs) Dilrukshi Wimalaratne, Chairperson of the GW-SVB.

Funded by the Army Seva Vanitha Unit, the construction was carried out by troops of the 12th Battalion Gemunu Watch.

In addition to the house, the family received essential furniture and kitchen appliances. Senior Officers, Officers, members of the GW-SVB, and troops of the 12 GW were present at the event.
