The 2nd Regiment of Special Forces (SF) celebrated its 31st Anniversary on 25 July 2025. As part of the Anniversary celebrations, troops of 2 SF, together with the SF Seva Vanitha Branch (SVB), conducted a donation programme for 38 children at Janakapura Primary School on 18 July 2025.
During the programme, gift parcels containing stationery and nutritious food items were distributed among the children, followed by a lunch.
Lieutenant Colonel A.K.P.G.D.P.B Premachandra RWP RSP USP psc, Commanding Officer of 2 SF, together with members of the SF-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
