The Sri Lanka Light Infantry Seva Vanitha Branch (SLLI-SVB), under the guidance of Major General Y.A.B.M Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army and the Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) and the supervision of Mrs. Darshanee Yahampath, Chairperson of SLLI-SVB, constructed a new house for a Non-Commissioned Officer of 5 (V) SLLI as the second phase of their housing project.
The newly built house was officially vested in the soldier on 13 July 2025 by the Commanding Officer of 5 (V) SLLI and senior members of SLLI-SVB.
