The Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock Seva Vanitha Branch (SLACAL-SVB) conducted a donation programme at the Sri Lanka Cancer Society, Karapitiya branch in Galle on 12 July 2025, under the guidance of Mrs Niroshika Karunapala, the Chairperson of SLACAL-SVB.
During the event, essential items worth Rs. 200,000.00, required for the care and comfort of cancer patients undergoing treatment at Karapitiya Hospital, were donated.
All donations were generously provided by the under-command battalions of the SLACAL. Members of SLACAL-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
