Members of the Sri Lanka Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch (SLA–SVB) visited Abhimansala-2 in Kamburupitiya with the aim of uplifting the mental and physical wellbeing of war heroes undergoing rehabilitation.
Major General K.V.N.P. Premaratne RSP USP nps psc, Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and Colonel Commandant of SLA, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, together with Mrs. Vindya Premaratne, Chairperson of SLA–SVB.
During the programme, essential items were donated to the inmates and their caretakers. In addition, a sound system was handed over to the centre for recreational purposes. The event also included an entertainment session followed by a lunch for the residents.
Senior Officers, Officers and SLA–SVB members also participated in this initiative.
