Under the guidance of Mrs Swendrini Dissanayake, President of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU), a donation programme was conducted on 05 June 2025 at the ASVU office with the aim of enhancing the wellbeing of war heroes.
Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, Commander of the Army, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
As part of the programme, 20 wheelchairs worth Rs. 1 million were donated to the ASVU by Mr K.D.G.B.K Fernando, Chairman of Aptech Investments, for the benefit of disabled war heroes. Additionally, Alliance Finance contributed 2000 saplings to the ASVU in line with World Environment Day.
