MIC-SVB Conducts Medical Camp

The Military Intelligence Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (MIC-SVB) conducted a medical camp on 21 May 2025 at the Regimental Headquarters of MIC, under the guidance of Mrs Nilanthi Wijesooriya, the Chairperson of MIC-SVB.

Major General W.M.P.M Wijesooriya RWP RSP psc, Commander of 1 Corps and the Colonel Commandant of the MIC, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The initiative offered medical assistance to 150 MIC personnel family members and Karandeniya residents, including full body check-ups, specialist referrals and distribution of rare medicines. Participants were also educated on non-communicable diseases and the risks of betel leaf consumption, with support from a medical team from Balapitiya Base Hospital.

Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the programme.
