The SLSC – SVB celebrated the Sinhala and Tamil New Year on 10 April 2025 at the Gymnasium of the Army Physical Training School, Panagoda.
The Colonel Commandant of the SLSC, along with the Chairperson of the SLSC – SVB, graced the event as the Chief Guests.
The event featured games and activities such as musical chairs, fancy-dress performances, and fun games for children, including bun-eating, pinning the eye on the elephant, balloon-blowing, and many more.
A special New Year fair was also organised to support soldiers by offering essential goods at reasonable prices through stalls selling rice, fruits, vegetables, garments, sweets and household items.
