Maternity Aid Donation and Alms Giving Organized by SLASC-SVB

Under the guidance of Mrs. Maduwanthi Ambanpola, Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLASC-SVB), troops of the 5th Regiment of SLASC organized a maternity aid donation programme for the pregnant spouses of SLASC members, followed by alms giving to 15 buddhist nuns on 29 March 2025 at the Regimental Headquarters of SLASC.

During the alms giving, the buddhist nuns performed religious observances and invoked blessings for the expectant mothers. Major General E.M.G.A Ambanpola, Log Commander of the Security Forces Headquarters (West) and the Colonel Commandant of SLASC, members of SLASC-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the programme.
