Mrs. Swendrini Dissanayake, President of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU), visited the ASVU-managed Shop of the Garrison Welfare shop, the yoghurt project of the 8 Sri Lanka Army Service Corps and the Viru Kekulu Preschool in Diyatalawa on 15 March 2025 to review their progress.
During the visit, she provided necessary guidance for further development and emphasised aligning activities with the government’s "Clean Sri Lanka" initiative. As part of this visit, she donated a gift pack containing educational materials to support the learning of a child of a civil employee at Viru Kekulu Preschool.
Colonel Coordinating of ASVU, Senior members of ASVU, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were present at the occasion.
