Donation Programme Conducted by ASVU

A donation programme was conducted on 14 March 2025 at the Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU) office premises, under the guidance of Mrs. Swendrini Dissanayake, the President of the ASVU.

During the welfare event, seven sewing machines were donated to the spouses of five serving war heroes, one to an Other Rank of the 7 Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps, and another to the widow of a fallen war hero.

Additionally, several gift packs, including essential books and school supplies, were distributed to support the education of the children of 50 members of civil staff including gift vouchers worth Rs. 3000.00 for school shoes.
