Under the guidance of Mrs. Thushari Abeysinghe, Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAGSC-SVB), a school items donation programme was held at the Regimental Headquarters on 25th February 2025.
The event was graced by Major General A.M.K.G.P.S.K Abeysinghe, Director General of the Directorate of Financial Management and Colonel Commandant of SLAGSC, as the Chief Guest.
During the programme, essential school supplies, including books, shoes, and bags, valued at Rs. 2,240,000.00, were distributed among 225 children of soldiers and civil employees.
Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, civil staff, and children participated in the event.
