Under the guidance of Mrs. Darshani Yahampath, Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry Seva Vanitha Branch (SLLI-SVB), the troops of 7 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (7 SLLI) conducted a donation programme for pregnant mothers in Kilinochchi on 20 February 2025.
As part of this initiative, 50 dry ration packs were distributed among pregnant mothers, and a medical clinic was conducted to provide essential healthcare services.
The financial assistance for this welfare initiative was collectively provided by all ranks of 7 SLLI, the staff of the Medical Officer of Health (MOH) office, and philanthropists in the area.
