The Gemunu Watch Seva Vanitha Branch (GW-SVB) conducted several donation programmes on 8th February 2025 at the Regimental Centre.
The initiative was conducted under the guidance of Dr (Mrs) Dilrukshi Wimalaratne, Chairperson of GW-SVB.
Mr Chaminda Senarathne, Operational Manager of Browns Agriculture Company (Private) Limited, donated two wheelchairs for the use of soldiers with battle injuries.
Subsequently, GW-SVB donated 85 stationery packs to children who had successfully passed the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination.
Senior Officers, Officers, members of GW-SVB, Other Ranks, and their children participated in the event.
