ASVU Provides Refreshments to Participants in Independence Day Rehearsals

With the fullest directions and coordination of the Commander of the Army and the President, Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU), a project to distribute refreshment sachets among Tri-Forces troops and all participating in the rehearsals of the forthcoming 77th National Independence Day celebrations was initiated from 01st February 2025 in collaboration with Fonterra Brands Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.

During morning hours on 01st February 2025, Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, Commander of the Army and Mrs. Swendrini Rodrigo, President Army Seva Vanitha Unit, symbolically distributed a set of these refreshment packs among participants in the parade rehearsal.

The distribution among all participants will continue during rehearsals until the final day of the parade.
