Annual General Meeting of the SLAOC-SVB

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAOC-SVB) was conducted on 25th January 2025 at the conference hall of the School of Ordnance, Dombagoda under the patronage of Major General E.M.M Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO, Commander of the Logistics Command and the Colonel Commandant of SLAOC.

The AGM was presided by Mrs. Iresha Fernando, the Chairperson of SLAOC-SVB, and was attended by members of the Executive Committee and other invitees, including spouses of Other Ranks.

Upon arrival, the Honorable Chairperson was warmly welcomed by Secretary and members of the SLAOC-SVB. The proceedings commenced with the traditional lighting of the oil lamp, followed by the recital of the Seva Vanitha Anthem. Thereafter, a two-minute silence was observed to honour the memory of fallen War Heroes.

Later on, a financial assistance worth of Rs. 50,000.00 was extended to support the medical expenses of a family of an Other Ranks. The day's proceedings concluded with an inspiring motivational lecture delivered by Lieutenant Colonel E.A.A.S Chamindha, providing valuable insights to the attendees.
