Under the guidence of Mrs Samindi Wickramarathne, the Chairperson of the Commando Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (CR-SVB), a series of community outreach initiatives were conducted on 24th and 25th January 2025.
On 24th January 2025, the members of CR-SVB visited Sri Wimalawansha Crèche in Ranmuthugala and distributed food, stationery, toys, and nutritional items to the children.
The following day, the members of CR-SVB visited the Kaduwela Vilbert Perera Memorial Elders' Home and distributed dry rations, sanitary items, and nutritious meals to the elderly residents. Later, a special event was held at the CR Centre, where household items, dry rations, and clothing were distributed to the civil employees of the CR.
Members of CR-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
