‘Pipena Viru Tharu’ Art Competition by GW-SVB

The Gemunu Watch Seva Vanitha Branch (GW-SVB), under the guidance of Dr (Mrs) Dilrukshi Wimalaratne, President of GW-SVB, and the supervision of Major General W.B.J.K Wimalaratne RWP RSP, Colonel of the Regiment, the Gemunu Watch, organised an art competition titled ‘Pipena Viru Tharu’ for the children of Gemunu families.

Following a meticulous evaluation of 109 submissions, twelve winners were selected, and a prize-giving ceremony was conducted at the Regimental Centre, the Gemunu Watch, on 19th January 2025. Winners received prizes, certificates, and essential school stationery, while all participants were awarded certificates of appreciation.

Members of GW–SVB, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
