Under the guidance of Mrs. Iresha Fernando, Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAOC-SVB), a newly constructed house was inaugurated for Non-Commissioned Officer of SLAOC and his family on 18 December 2024 in Kalutara.
The event was graced by Major General E.M.M Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO, Commander Logistics Command and Colonel Commandant of SLAOC, as the Chief Guest.
During the ceremony, the Chief Guest officially handed over the house key to the beneficiary. The construction was made possible through financial assistance provided by SLAOC-SVB, with additional support from generous local donors.
Members of SLAOC-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
