Under the guidance of Mrs. Manisha Kothalawala, Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Seva Vanitha Branch (SLCMP-SVB), a festive Christmas Carol service was conducted on 7 December 2024 at the School of Military Police, Girithale, in collaboration with the School of Military Police and the 2nd Regiment of the SLCMP.
The event featured carols performed by the St. Antony's Church, Inamaluwa choir. Adding to the festive spirit, Santa Claus distributed Christmas gifts, snacks, and lunch to the children of SLCMP soldiers.
Major General S.A.N.D. Edirisinghe RWP RSP Hdmc psc, the Director General General Staff and Colonel Commandant of SLCMP, along with members of SLCMP-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, and their families, were also present at the venue.
