Under the guidance of Mrs. Varuni Kulatunge, the Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock Seva Vanitha Branch (SLACAL-SVB), a newly constructed library, equipped with 200 books, was declared open for the use of all Officers and Other Ranks on 01 December 2024 at the Regimental Centre, Karandeniya.
The event was graced by the Chairperson of SLACAL-SVB as the Chief Guest.
Mr. Kalana C. Wakista from the School of Agriculture and Livestock, Mrs. Nilanka Rathnayaka, and a few other individuals generously donated many valuable books to the library. Members of SLACAL-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the event.
