SLSR-SVB Conducts Scholarship Programme

The Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (SLSR-SVB) conducted a scholarship programme under the guidance of Mrs. Neluka Nanayakkara, Chairperson of SLSR-SVB, on 30 November 2024 at 2 SLSR.

Major General W.P.A.D.W. Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu, Chief of Staff of the Army and Colonel of the SLSR, graced the event as the Chief Guest.

During the ceremony, scholarships valued at Rs. 570,000.00 were awarded to 36 students who had excelled in the 2023 Grade 5 Scholarship Examination, GCE (O/L) Examination, and GCE (A/L) Examination.

Additionally, 18 pairs of school shoes were donated to children who passed the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination by NDB Bank, under the guidance of Mr. Thilina Hewage, NDB Bank Regional Manager, and coordinated by Mrs. Nethmini Muthumala, Assistant Treasurer of SLSR-SVB.

Members of SLSR-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the programme.
