Under the guidance of Mrs. Priyanga Wickramasinghe, Chairperson of the Gajaba Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (GR-SVB), a Spectacles Donation Programme was conducted at the Gajaba Regimental Centre on 20 November 2024, in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Eye Donation Society.
Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander, Security Forces (Jaffna), and Colonel of the Regiment GR, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. During the programme, a total of 381 recipients were provided with spectacles.
Members of the GR-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, members of the Sri Lanka Eye Donation Society, and recipients attended the programme.
