CR-SVB Holds Monthly Meeting

The Commando Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (CR-SVB) held its monthly meeting on 16 November 2024 at the Commando Regimental Centre in Ganemulla, under the guidance of Mrs. Samindie Wickramaratne, Chairman of CR-SVB.

The meeting began with the singing of the Seva Vanitha song and a moment of silence to honour fallen war heroes. Key discussions included reviewing ongoing initiatives, planning an upcoming visit to the Ragama Ranaviru Sevana, revising the CR-SVB logo, and finalising future meeting schedules.

New office bearers were appointed and a memento was presented to Major H.J.T Perera RSP USP in appreciation of his contributions. Plans for December events were also highlighted, featuring a motivational speech, a donation programme for pregnant mothers, and Christmas celebrations.

The gathering concluded with an interactive session led by Chairman, with the participation of members, Senior Officers, and Officers.
