14 SLA Organizes a Donation Program

The 14 Rocket Regiment of the Sri Lanka Artillery (SLA), in collaboration with Sri Lanka Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch and the Silvermill Foundation, successfully organized a donation program on 24 October 2024 at Kalankuttiya. The program aimed to promote family welfare and sustainability by distributing dry ration packets to 20 pregnant mothers and 700 coconut saplings to 80 farmers.

At the request of Major General B.K.G.M.L Rodrigo RSP psc IG, the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and Colonel Commandant of the SLA, Major General Shiran Abeysekara (Retd) RSP USP, President of the Silvermill Foundation, sponsored the items for the donation.

Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
