The newly renovated Chairperson's Office of the Mechanized Infantry Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (MIR-SVB) was officially inaugurated by Mrs. Nilanthi Wanasinghe, Chairperson of MIR-SVB, on 29 October 2024 at the MIR Regimental Centre premises.
The office was refurbished under the guidance and direction of Major General W.M.S.C.K. Wanasinghe RSP USP, General Officer Commanding of the 21 Infantry Division and Colonel of the Regiment of MIR.
During the event, two-bathroom fittings were donated by the MIR-SVB to two soldiers.
