Under the guidance of Mrs. Hansika Mahalekam, the Chairperson of Military Intelligence Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (MIC-SVB) a scholarship donation programme was held for children of deceased War Heroes on 24 October 2024 at the MIC Regimental Centre, Karandeniya.
During the event, children who excelled in the grade – 05 scholarship examination, Ordinary Level Examination and Advanced Level Examination were donated with school equipment followed by financial assistances. Subsequently a cash cheque was donated to Corporal E.K.S.S Lakshan to complete his partially built house.
Members of MIC-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, Children’s and their family members participated in the ceremony.
