Under the guidance of Mrs H.G Swarnalatha, the Chairperson of Sri Lanka Army Pioneer Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAPC-SVB), along with all members of SLAPC-SVB, provided lunch for elders at Jawaththa Elders Home, Kaluthara on 21 October 2024.
During the programme, a traditional dhamma sermon and an alms-giving was held followed by a Buddha Pooja programme.
Later on, a lunch was provided for the elders. Subsequently, the members of SLAPC-SVB donates essential items, including cleaning materials for the use of elders.
Senior members of SLAPC-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
