Members of the Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock Seva Vanitha Branch (SLACAL-SVB) conducted a visit to Abhimansala II, Kamburupitiya, under the supervision of Mrs.Varuni Kulatunge, Chairperson of SLACAL-SVB and under the guidance of Major General S.A Kulatunge RWP RSP VSV USP psc, Commander Security Forces (East) and Colonel Commandant of SLACAL on 25 October 2024.
During the event the Colonel Commandant of SLACAL addressed attendees, expressing gratitude to the resident War Heroes. Afterward, participants enjoyed tea and a live band performance. The Chairperson generously donated essential packs for the 13 inmates, dry ration packs for their caregivers, and sanitary items for the facility, along with sports equipment.
To conclude the visit, the Chairperson penned complimentary remarks in the Visitors' Book. Senior Officers, Officers, and members of SLACAL-SVB participated in the visit.
