Mrs. Janaki Liyanage, President of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU), visited the Senehasa Education Resource Research and Information Centre (SERRIC) on 25 October 2024.
Upon her arrival, the President was welcomed by a child from SERRIC, by presenting a sheaf of betel leaves.
During her visit, the President interacted with children in classrooms, inquired about their wellbeing, and presented gift parcels. Later, she donated essential cleaning items and equipment for the maintenance of the children’s swimming pool, along with two steel cupboards.
Before concluding her visit, a memento was presented to the President by the children of SERRIC.
Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks were present at the event.
