Under the guidance of Mrs. Chandi Rajapakse, Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLASC-SVB), the Children’s Day Programme was held at 2(V) SLASC, Katunayake, on 06 October 2024. The event was conducted under the supervision of Lieutenant Colonel R.A Udaratage, Commanding Officer of 2(V) SLASC, and his spouse, Mrs. Chandima Udaratage.
During the programme, a special event was conducted by renowned artist and Aesthetic Director, Mr. Saman Gunawardana. Gift packs were distributed to children and elders of the staff, followed by a lunch for all attendees. Senior Officers, Officers, and Members of SLASC-SVB participated in the celebration.
