Under the guidance of Mrs. Thushari Abeysinghe, Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAGSC-SVB), members of the SLAGSC-SVB visited the Indira Cancer Trust and Suwa Arana on 25 September 2024. The visit focused on assessing the wellbeing of children aged one to sixteen undergoing cancer treatment, along with their families.
A musical program and karaoke session were organized for the children, followed by providing essential gift packs by the Chairperson. Additionally, a Rs. 50,000 donation was made to support medical assistance.
Major General A.M.K.G.P.S.K Abeysinghe, Colonel Commandant of SLAGSC, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the visit.
