The second phase of dry ration packs distribution was successfully held under the patronage of Mrs. Varuni Kulatunge, Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock Seva Vanitha Branch (SLACAL - SVB). This initiative aimed to provide ease the economical burden of the soldiers and civil workers serving at SLACAL. Accordingly, 125 were benifited from the programme.
The distribution process commenced with a donation of 16 dry ration during the Annual General Meeting of SLACAL - SVB on 10 August 2024.
The remaining 109 parcels were allocated to the respective battalions of SLACAL, with notable support from the Colonel Commandant, Centre Commandant, Commandant of the School of Agriculture & Livestock, and all Commanding Officers.
Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, and members of SLACAL - SVB participated in the event.
