SLAGSC-SVB Holds Annual General Meeting

Under the supervision and guidance of Mrs. Thushari Abeysinghe, the Chairperson of Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps Seva Vanitha Branch, (SLAGSC-SVB) the Annual General Meeting was conducted on 10 August 2024 at Regimental Headquarters.

The Secretary welcomed the attendees and read the minutes from the previous meeting marking the inauguration of the proceedings.

Following this, the budget report was presented. In line with the agenda, a flashback of the welfare activities of the previous year was presented to the audience. Major Veronika Dasanayake, the Officer in charge of Army Dancing troops and an expert in kathak dancing entertained the audience performing a eye-catching dancing item adding a glamour to the event.

Later on, Mrs. Rukmani Rathnayake, a member of SLAGSC-SVB as well as the winner of best diversity champion in the year 2023 educated the audience with inspiring lecture.

Officers, Other Ranks and members of SLAGSC-SVB participated in the event.
