Under the guidance of the Quarter Master General and Colonel of the Regiment of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI), Major General G.M.N. Perera RWP RSP USP ndc, and under the supervision of the Chairperson of the SLLI Seva Vanitha Branch (SLLI-SVB), Mrs. Vajira Perera, a donation programme was held on 10 August 2024 at the SLLI Regimental Center Lecture Hall.
The event featured the distribution of sports items to all SLLI battalions. Additionally, the SLLI-SVB made a generous donation of Rs. 200,000.00 to support the medical treatment of the spouse of a retired Officer.
Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and members of the SLLI-SVB participated in the event.
