The fifth Annual General Meeting of the Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock Seva Vanitha Branch (SLACAL-SVB) took place on 10 August 2024 at the Regimental Centre, Karandeniya. Mrs. Varuni Kulatunge, Chairperson of the SLACAL-SVB graced the event as the Chief Guest.
The meeting was attended by 28 members and 9 Lady Officers. The new committee was elected in accordance with the constitution and future projects were discussed.
During the event, 125 dry ration packs were distributed among SLACAL Other Ranks and civil staff. Additionally, to mark the 75th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army, a donation of Rs. 300,000 was made by 2(V)SLACAL towards the completion of a house for a deserving soldier.
