Donation Program by SLASC - SVB

Under the guidance of Mrs. Chandi Rajapakse, Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLASC-SVB), and under the supervision of Major E.R.S. de Silva Lsc, Commanding Officer of 5 SLASC, along with Mrs. Inoshi Fernando, member of SLASC-SVB, a donation program was held at ASC School, Thisawewa, on 3 August 2024.

During the programme, school equipment were donated to the children of 5 SLASC soldiers, and dry ration packs were given to the civil staff working at 5 SLASC.

Subsequently, Major (Dr.) Shanika Halangoda, Acting Consultant on Chemical Pathology, conducted a lecture on 'Nutrition and Childhood Development'.

All children and parents were then provided a delicious lunch. At the end of the event, the Chairperson of SLASC-SVB visited the yoghurt project maintained by the 3 SLASC.
