Under the guidance of Mrs. Surangi Amarapala, Chairperson of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch (SLE-SVB), an educational aids donation programme was conducted with the support of the 1 Field Engineer Regiment at the Regimental Centre, Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers on 30 July 2024.
The objective of the programme was to provide essential educational aids to children of soldiers who have more than three kids in a family. Each gift pack included a variety of educational materials such as books, stationery items, and school bags.
Members of SLE-SVB, Senior Officers and Officers participated in the event.
