Anuradhapura ‘Viru Kekulu’ Kids Showcase Their Talents

Kids at Anuradhapura ‘Viru Kekulu’ pre-school showcased their talents in the Annual Sports Meet at the 4 Sri Lanka Signal Corps playground on 29 July 2024 under the theme, ‘Fairy Garden’.

Mrs. Anoja Peris, Chairperson of Special Forces Seva Vanitha Branch and ASVU Senior member in Charge of Viru Kekulu Pre School attended the inauguration of the event as the Chief Guest, together with several ASVU members. The Chief Guest was warmly welcomed by the kids on her arrival at the location offering sheaves of betel.

All the kids participated in various sports activities including features, like butterfly game, ring game, catepiller game, build a tower, traffic lights, obstacle race, bee game, talent show, etc. during the meet. A special event was also organized for the parents of children and teachers during the sports meet. The day’s event, filled with fun and drill and band displays, added colour to the programme. The Chief Guest gave away prizes to the kids who participated in the day’s events.

Commander, Security Forces - Wanni, Senior Officers, Senior Members of ASVU, Other Ranks and parents were present during the event.
