Inauguration of New SLASC – SVB Office

Mrs. Chandi Rajapaksha, Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLASC – SVB), inaugurated the new SLASC – SVB office on 27 July 2024 at the SLASC Regimental Centre.

Following the inauguration, financial assistance amounting to Rs. 35,000/- was provided to purchase spectacles for a retired Non-Commissioned Officer of 1 SLASC.

Additionally, school supplies and shoes were donated to the three daughters of a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer of SLASC, who retired from the Army recently, in response to his written request.

Members of SLASC – SVB, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
