The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAWC–SVB) was held on 26 July 2024 under the guidance of Mrs. Udula Kasturimudali, the Chairperson of SLAWC–SVB.
The event commenced with the recitation of the Seva Vanitha anthem, followed by opening remarks by the Chairperson of SLAWC–SVB. Major S.V.R.A. De Silva from Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps then delivered a comprehensive lecture on ‘How to Improve the Ability to Control Emotions and Feelings’ focusing on balancing military and family life.
The meeting included discussions on welfare activities conducted and planned for the benefit of War Heroes and their families. Then, a short video was displayed showcasing welfare projects undertaken by SLAWC–SVB.
As part of the event, spectacles were donated to Civil Staff and Other Ranks of SLAWC.
