The Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAOC-SVB), in collaboration with the Base Ordnance Depot, conducted a donation programme at the "ACCC" Child Development Centre in Ragama on 17 July 2024.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Mrs. Iresha Fernando, Chairperson of SLAOC-SVB, and the supervision of Major General E.M.M Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO, Commander of the Logistics Command and Colonel Commandant of SLAOC. During the event, an entertainment session, including a magic show, dancing, and singing by the Ordnance cultural dancing team and calypso team, was conducted. The children were also treated with a nutritious lunch.
Furthermore, essential items such as blenders, wall fans, ceiling fans, and recreation items were also donated to the children’s centre. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the event.
