Troops of the Security Forces - Central organized a tree planting programme on 12 July 2024 at the 12 Infantry Division (12 Div) premises to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU).
The programme was carried out on the concept of Mrs. Janaki Liyanage, President of ASVU under the supervision of Deputy General Officer Commanding of 12 Div, Brigadier S.P.G Gamage RWP RSP USP.
During the programme, 280 saplings of Mee, Wood apples, Ehala and Neralu plants were planted.
Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in this event.
